Every time a planning application is lodged at Tewkesbury Borough Council for changes to properties or new development in Woodmancote, TBC have to notify the parish council. As a Consultee the parish council is asked to make a comment which has two outcomes; either to approve or to object. Our determination is based on material considerations. We then advise TBC of our response.
TBC have to take our response into consideration before they determine the application. The parish council does NOT decide any planning applications.
The public are alerted to planning applications by a green notice that is displayed close to the property or a letter from TBC to residents in close proximity to the application. Residents respond directly to TBC via the planning portal.
